Please begin by familiarizing yourself with the necessary steps outlined below, which will guide you through the process of submitting your idea for review. It's crucial to ensure that you supply all the required details to present your idea comprehensively.
For each step outlined below, we will provide you with templates and detailed guidelines to facilitate the best possible submission process.
Begin by downloading the necessary documents for each phase of the submission process. After you have filled out all the templates, you can come back and submit them collectively.
Step 1: Idea Details
Your insights are invaluable to our collective progress. Please fill out the form below to share your innovative idea. Include a compelling title, a clear description, the appropriate category, and an estimated return on investment (ROI). Your contribution could not only earn you Zak currency but also drive meaningful change in our organization. Let's collaborate to make a difference!
Step 2: Sketch out the idea
Create visuals of the idea. I.e. Mindmaps and wireframes.
Step 3: Write a press release
Write a hypothetical press release. It’s not only a description of the service, but how hypothetical customers would react to it. How did the service affect them? What surprised them about it? What concerns did they want addressed?
Step 4: Compile FAQs
A series of FAQ’s are written anticipating concerns for both customers and for various stakeholders within the firm, like the CFO, operations people and the leadership.
Step 5: Collect Idea Validation Data
Learn about people and the context of the problem or opportunity by doing online research and speaking to people about it. At this point it is important not to tell people about your idea, but rather to learn about current and past behaviours that will inform and validate your idea.
Step 6: Compile Customer Empathy Map
The Customer Empathy Map captures the assumptions around the jobs to be done.
Step 7: Obtain Gate 1 Approval
Complete the Gate 1 Approval scorecard and schedule a Gate 1 Approval meeting with the Growth Board.
