For each step outlined below, we will provide you with templates and detailed guidelines to facilitate the best possible submission process.

Step 1: Idea Details

Step 3: Write a press release

Write a hypothetical press release. It’s not only a description of the service, but how hypothetical customers would react to it. How did the service affect them? What surprised them about it? What concerns did they want addressed?

Step 4: Compile FAQs

A series of FAQ’s are written anticipating concerns for both customers and for various stakeholders within the firm, like the CFO, operations people and the leadership.

Step 5: Collect Idea Validation Data

Learn about people and the context of the problem or opportunity by doing online research and speaking to people about it. At this point it is important not to tell people about your idea, but rather to learn about current and past behaviours that will inform and validate your idea.

The Customer Empathy Map captures the assumptions around the jobs to be done.

Step 7: Obtain Gate 1 Approval

Complete the Gate 1 Approval scorecard and schedule a Gate 1 Approval meeting with the Growth Board.
